The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea approached R F Webb & Son to tender for the repainting and relighting of the world famous Chelsea Bridge, which dates back to 1858.
Works included the removal of the existing festoon lighting, cabling and switchgear to allow the paintwork to be stripped, primed and repainted. New feature lighting was installed.
The project was carried out under direct contract with the Borough and, as a result of this successful partnership, RF Webb also undertook work on Albert Bridge.
